New Education Website from NTTP
The North Texas Tea Party has developed a new web site devoted to education issues.
Please check it out at http://EduValFound.Wordpress.com (Educational Values and Foundations)
The website currently consists primarily of materials (articles, videos, audios) in support of the candidacy of Dr. Don McLeroy for the Texas SBOE, District 9. (Dr. McLeroy has been TEA APPROVED by the NTTP.)
You can register with the website using the familiar Big Red Button. You can also optionally sign up to work for Dr. McLeroy's campaign (phone bank, door-to-door). Remember, you don't have to live in a candidate's district to work for them!
For more information, please contact Chip Adams (wadamsiv@commonsensecitizens.net) or Vadim Anshslevich (vanshel@commonsensecitizens.net).
Also, please check out this Dallas Morning News letter to the editor by Bill Ames:
http://dallasmorningviewsblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2010/02/return-mcleroy.html
and this, also from the DMN: http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/news/politics/state/stories/DN-edboard_14tex.ART.State.Edition2.4bcf3e4.html

Precinct Walk
Yesterday there were 3 of us who walked precinct 14. It was pretty cold, but we walked one whole complex of homes and townhomes. Of the 62 votes we need, we only received 5, but we will hit the streets again next Saturday. A lot of people were happy to see us and get the voter information we had, so I think we are doing a great community service. And besides - it's fun and great exercise!
After seeing Sarah Palin speak to the Tea Party convention last night, it has renewed my energy to do all that I can. I think she will run in 2012, and I think that's great!
Hope to see you all Tuesday night at the Afghan Grill at 7pm. The topic of discussion will be regarding the Trans Texas Corridor. That should be a lively one!
